I'm stumped, I've tried various trials and free/shareware and still can't accomplish this simple task:
Rip a bluray disc to my harddrive and transcode so the movie is a single file.
I have backed up my DVD's (those the kid's haven't trashed that is) so they reside on my server such that sage can see them. They are compressed using Handbrake which is great for letting me choose translations. Handbrake works perfectly in almost all cases.
I finally got a BD for my PC so I can backup my bluray discs ... all 2 of them right now. I'm so stuck with bluray though. There are many guides on the net that explain what I want with many step processes with multiple downloads. I've tried several and end up with a crash of the software (on XPSP3) or an m4v file that nothing will play (e.g. sage playback error).
I can rip the BD to my server and playback with SageTV so I know I'm close...
Does anybody have an 'easy' solution for bluray transcoding? I'm not adverse to spending $ for 'easy'.
