/archive/j/site/logos/hai.jpgSometime last month, HAI started shipping the 3rd generation of their HLC based automation technology, bringing some new features and improvements. HLC is based on UPB, but is a HAI propriatery layer which intends to make device management and control a lot easier. Products with date code of 43/11 or later indicates the unit is a 3rd generation product (they started shipping early December). This also means you might be able to find some good deals on the previous generation hardware. Check their knowledge base article for the list of changes.
