PCS has revealed more information about their new PulseWorx RF hardware, which is now available for purchase. Using energy harvesting technology created by EnOcean, the 32-bit RF hardware (315 MHz) will be able to control your UPB devices by simply tapping kinetic and solar energy. In most cases, you will never need batteries, but some of the products will support the use of batteries. PulseWorx RF depends on a plug-in RF-to-UPB gateway (officially called the Radio Frequency Interface, model # RFI-E), supporting up to 8 devices. PCS also released more info on the first devices supporting this technology and is also working on door/window, temperature and photocell sensors. Keep on reading for more info about the devices, pricing information, and the official press release.
