Amsterdam, NL - ISE 2010 - February 2nd - Booth 1I25 - VidaBox, LLC is shipping their newly redesigned FireServer™, which now supports 1-Step Drop-n-Rip™ archiving for Blu-rays, an audiophile-friendly DualRip™ feature, multiroom audio integration with Sonos®, Logitech® SqueezeBox™, and other popular music systems via uPNP, and field-expandable storage for up to 1230 DVDs and 320 Blu-rays.
"Dealers finally have a entry-level, dedicated VidaBox server solution that has all the features they're looking for," explains Steven Cheung, President of VidaBox, LLC. "The original FireServer™ was based on standard Windows Home Server technologies, which we found had some serious performance limitations for Blu-ray streaming. Since then, we have changed the design to support seamless multi-zone Blu-ray streaming. At the same time, we've also added in new features such as optional multiroom audio support for systems like Sonos®, so that integrators can provide a simple, seamless multiroom audio solution with our 1-Step DualRip™ for music CDs."
