Viper, the company known for remote start and car security systems, announced that its SmartStart app (which allows you to remote start your car via an Android/iOS/BlackBerry phone) will now support arming/disarming your house as well, using the alarm.com service. Very cool. I have always been a big fan and user of Viper products ever since I used to install them years ago. Things have changed a whole bunch since the Viper 300, 400, 600, and 1000 model units. Glad to see they are keeping up with the times.
