"Away" security setting reverts to "Day" setting

Hi,
 
I have an Omino Pro II and when I leave the house and hit the "away" button on the controller to activate security it places it in "day" mode. If when I go out I activate via my iPhone on "away" it holds the setting ok. Any ideas what is wrongly configured to stop this behaviour ?

When you set if for AWAY from the keypad, are you opening a door? If you do not, the system knows you didn't leave and will put it in DAY mode. The app will not do this and go to AWAY mode.

You have to open and close an entry/exit zone after initiating Away or the system assumes you stayed and never left.
 
As stated above, programmatically setting Away, does not have this safety feature.
 
The system is smart enough to know whether the arming was initiated locally or via a remote device.
 
Think of it like this.
You left and forgot to arm the alarm, so you log on via smart phone and arm Away.
You can't open a door so the system goes straight to Away.

You can program it in settings to not revert to day. I believe the setting is called "unvacated premises"
