I visited Control 4. They have a ZigBee interface and various serial ports/drivers say for Elk and GE security devices.
They offer an "all in one" home audio/video, security, and home control solution. It was hard to get anyone to answer questions (don't know if they just didn't know anything technical, or just didn't care to talk to a "non-dealer/integrator") but for what it's worth here are some pictures of their components below.

(PS: Control 4, you really need to hire different marketing people!)
