Default account to bypass "Accounts" screen in ElkRP

This is a little annoyance that is driving me crazy. Every time I open ElkRP I have to select the correct account through the Accounts page before getting to the Account Details page. Is there any way to specify a default account that will allow me to jump right to the "Account Details" page when opening ElkRP?

I agree it is slightly annoying, but I have thought about it this way... the program is really made for dealers who work on multiple systems, and we are lucky that ELK allows us DIY'rs to have a copy of it (for free even) and work on our own systems.

I totally agree. After you have your system setup, you normally use just one account.

I will pass this on to the ELKRP guru.

How about an ethernet expander with a web interface that allows configuration?

Speaking of which, I know the serial port protocol is documented, but is the ElkRP/configuration stuff documented? Like if someone wanted to build their own ElkRP type software, is all the required data documented somewhere, or are there some secrets?

There is a new software update for the M1XEP coming out soon which has several new improvements.

Ethernet with GSM is in the works.

The ELKRP data protocol is a proprietary protocol because it allows for system reprogramming.
