Does RP ship with Elk

I did a search but couldnt find the answer.

Does Elk RP software ship with the unit?

Also if you get the ethernet expander to you then use the same software but just connect via TCP/IP instead of serial?

NO, you download the software from the M1 Dealer website.

Yes you hook up to the unit via the RP software using the network option.

ah ok, great...looks to be free though if you've already purchased an M1.

Yea its free. I think you can even dowload a copy and play with it prior to getting a controller

I think all that you need is an M1 serial number to download plus some other information
