Elk M1 and IP Monitoring

Has anyone found a suitable solution for IP monitoring? I was in contact today with AlarmRelay and they stated that their systems can receive communication from the Elk M1 but cannot supervise it. Is M1XEP supervision possible with the DSC Surguard? Have the Osborne-Hoffman systems been discontinued? (I am getting all of this from sales people so who knows if they are telling the truth or not?!) Can anyone give a brief explanation of how these systems work?

My $.02....The problem is that they dont want to supervise it.  Who would they call when several supervision pings are missed?  With low QoS household internet, it would be a daily event.  Even in a commercial install, the monitoring station would probably call the dealer and not the property owner.
