Garage door monitor/closer

My roommate left our garage door open ONLY 1 NIGHT and someone came in and stole her purse, etc. Maybe we're lucky -- we could have been dead, I guess. Having this incident in mind I recently ran across a message on another forum where they were discussing a new product specifically to help us remember to close our garage doors.

Forgive me if I seem rude, but this is either a spam post, or just a very poor choice for your introduction to the cocoontech community. I hope it's the later, but suspect it's the former.

Removed the link, definitely looks like spam judging by some of the other posts I found. If it isn't spam, then I would like to see a personal response. Also the IP of the poster is in the same physical area as the location of the company he is spamvertising. Besides, you can't even buy the product.

Surely no one here needs some high priced gimmick device to automate their garage door ? My M1 alerts me after 5 and 10 minutes if the garage door is still open
