just curious - why do you need this? Are you trying to get FCC license for one you create?
I have an RF fireplace remote around here somewhere...would that help?

There are a lot of registered frequencies for fan control and I am trying to get a sense if they are all relatively widely used or if there is a preferred frequency. May lead to some type of product offering.

Yes there are a lot of filings in the FCC database but as you can see one manufacturer has many different frequencies registered. The question is which is the most common.
