Hi. I found this website:
http://www.earthled.com/lumiselect-dimmabl...ight-bulbs.html
I thought anyone might be interested, but it is pretty expensive; however, it's a good alternative to CFLs to those who insist that they only want to stick with incandescent light bulbs until a better technology becomes available and at a low price (including me, since I don't like CFL light bulbs
).
I watched the YouTube video and I don't think the video will do its justice, due to the environment not being almost pitch-black and it dims and brightens a bit too fast (probably due to the poor quality of the video -- DSL speed is about 340kbps since I'm in Altha, FL, which is west of Tallahassee (decided to move out of my apartment a month ago in order to save some money).
I might buy it myself dueing Christmas time and I hope to try this out with Insteon.
So, what do you think of LumiSelect, from EarthLED?
PS: Shouldn't this thread belong in the wiring closet? I thought this thread might be home automation-related, so I thought I'd post it here.
