mykeypad and lollipop

So I wasted a couple of hours last night thinking something funky happened to my XEP or configuration, since mykeypad magically stopped connecting to the panel. Then it dawned on me that this occurred after lollipop was pushed to the phone.

Did a search on here and saw a comment buried down in a thread about mykeypad and how it wont work on lollipop.

Pretty frustrating that an app that worked perfectly fine gets wiped out by an Android update. And looks like there is no plan from the developer to revise.

I stopped using Mykeypad long ago when I found it interfered with other systems connecting to my panel at the same time...

I looked at the reviews of myKeypad and it was enough to know not to use it, but still tried the free version.

Since myKeypad is no longer supported and doesn't work on Android Lollipop I decided not to go ahead with it, and purchased the M1 Touch Pro app instead. The M1 touch app is fair much better to use and it works perfect on Android Lollipop plus the developer supports the app unlike the other apps.
