hello everyone,

Currently I am looking for a IC chip which enable me to monitor the voltage of a battery of 9V, when the voltage of the battery falls below 4.8V ~ 4.9V it will trigger and activate a either a buzzer or vibrator.

After some goggle on the net I came across ELM9748CAA - CMOS voltage detector IC for battery.

can anyone show me how it can be connected from a 9V battery going into the ELM9748CAA IC then to a load?

Thanks in advance

Best regards,

It looks like that device's detection range is fixed by the part (0.9-2.5v). I suggest a simple comparator.

Half of this circuit would work.

From my understanding of ELM97xxxxA series, there is a various range.
As for the 4.5V detection IC, it should be ELM9748CAA.

Just that how am i going to connect this to make it work?

Ah, okay. I didn't see the other side of the voltage table.

You would connect VDD to the positive side of your supply and VSS to the negative side. The output would be used to drive your load (50mA or less).
