Online Photo Hosting

I was wondering if someone had determined what might be the best photo-hosting site - as with all things, I'm sure it depends on the need. I'm finding that each one I try out has a little nuance that makes it less than perfect.

I've got about 21K photos that i currently have on my home server. I need to share them with my family (mom and dad want to see grandkid all the time).
So far, I've played with picasa, flikr, smugmug, fotki, photobucket.

What I'd like is something that would synchronize automatically between my home storage and the web. It doesn't have to be a free service, probably like $20/month.

I'd also like it to update facebook with changes, even automatic ones.

Thoughts? Experience?

Dropbox has a photoalbum feature and synchronizes...but it's probably not as advanced as some of the sites you've already tried.

Setup another server and use rsync over ssh scheduled nightly say 3am?

You aren't using WHS are you? If so, you can create a private web page and synch your photos on it (either your entire shared photo folder, or a dedicated folder that you create for those pictures you want to share).

I have been using Picasa and Picasaweb and been happy. Each album can be auto sync'd to Picasaweb.

Free, or a small yearly fee for extra storage. It is easy to share albums with people and there are none of those annoying pushes for viewers to create an account with the service like Snapplefish or whatever it is called.

I don't know if they have synchronization with your home storage or not, or if it's better or worse than the others as I haven't tried the others.
