I guess this would be a good place to discuss distributors that are DIY friendly.

Anyone think the distributors will mind? I've always been hesitant, as I don't want to get any distributors or manufacturers in trouble with the pro installers.

Ehh, Ive looked at them before and I believe they do have remotes that fit those criteria listed above, but they don't seem very aesthetically pleasing to me. Unfortunately, there may not be any other options...

Ive also looked at the Nevo remotes before, which I also like... but I dont remember if they are DIY programmable or if you have to be an integrator/dealer to get the software. Does anyone know?
