Premise Premise & Google voice control - the most modern way of services integration?

I have nary a clue. There is an Alexa-Premise module out there, written in C++. if I recall, which is way beyond my coding level...

Ellery Coffman had some Youtube videos on this a few years ago.  OK, 6 years ago.  But it may still work.  It used Tasker.  He supplied some scripts at the time.
