Is there something special about the Qmotion products compared to Somfy? When it comes to interfacing this stuff to your HA system I prefer to stick to manufacturers who have been around for a while. The newer stuff might be more difficult to work with as they have not fully thought out the product.

Does Somfy link with Z-wave? I didn't see anything on their website that actually said Z-wave (and thats what I have here...)

Somfy seems to be a lot louder than Qmotion, if their video is true.

I can't speak to how loud they are. People who have them claim them to be very quite. My current plans are to go with them when the time comes.
