Looking at M1G system prices from authorized dealers. Looks like Elk has a strict MAP policy for the systems (e.g. M1GSYS4 @ $679). I've seen some mention that AO will give a discount to cocooners if you call them and mention it. Also noticed that piecing together a system is sometimes cheaper as well. Does anyone have experience with smarthome or hometech... smarthome would be the cheapest to piece a system together, buut hometech is local, so if people have had luck with them discounting equipment and providing decent support to DIYers, I'd probably go that route. Thanks for any feedback or opinions.
