Two way voice module 10A11-1 active after phone call

I've had a two way voice module connected to my OmniPro II for about a year and it was working great until recently. We started noticing a brief dial tone over the speaker after hanging up the house phone and the active LED remains on for extended periods of time. It's so weird. Any ideas of how to troubleshoot this or ideas of the cause?

Are you on the new 3.13 firmware?  There have been a few reports of oddities on that version.

Good thought. I am now but the oddities started with 3.11.

Found the problem. Seems the ribbon cable failed at the entry to the voice modulation board. A little solder and now all works as designed.
