UPB links controlled by Elk M1, not allowed to skip link numbers?

I am starting to test some UPB stuff with my Elk M1. I have them setup in UPstart and the links/scenes work OK from UPstart and the devices. But I cannot control these links/scenes from ElkRM. So, I created a new test link/scene with the UPstart default of 001 and it works OK from ElkRM. The problem is that I already have some Insteon scenes at 193-201, so I had created my UPB test scenes/links at 203-207, but the 203-207 scenes do not work.

Am I missing something? Is there an issue with skipping scene/link numbers in Elk?

Is there some way to renumber a link in UPstart?

Wayne,

No, there is no way to change a link number. You can set up a new link with the any number you want and then swap that link in each device's send or receive table as necessary.

Thanks Dave, that is easier than the way I did it.

I figured out my stupid error with the scenes. I created the scenes in UPstart as link numbers 203-207, but they should have been links 11-15 as the 192 offset is already accounted for. In PowerHome for Insteon setup the scenes/groups are created as 193 and up, so I carried that habit over without thinking last night.

Links also seem to be the way to allow Elk to trigger a rule based upon pressing a secondary button on a US-240.
