UPStart Wizard Crash

UPStart Wizard crashed while creating a new network - first time install. After pressing Create Network button the app starts checking network for availability. Window XP responds with UPStart Application has encounter a problem... etc.

Any thoughts?

Do you have connectivity with your PIM, through your seriel port? Find the tab that checkes that and follow the steps. You might need to do a reset of the PIM/CIM 5 taps (with a toothpick) Blinking Green; 10 taps blinking red; 2 taps normal mode. I give you this from memory.

I found the wizard too slow. just set up my networks manualy.

By passed Elk for now and everything is working. And Yes, that sound you hear is me getting sucked into HA.

I had this same issue on more than one computer. (Mine and customer). Everytime the same thing fixed it, un-installing Norton AntiVirus / Internet Security. NOT disabling, that wouldn't work either. Typically this also effected your ability to save your design file tho. Check your event manager and I bet you will find plenty of information on this subject.
