Vizia to Intermatic controller replication?

I just replaced my small intermatic zwave system with vizia components. I am pretty impressed so far. However I cannot figure out how I can add/use/replicate-to so that I can use my HA07 and HA09 "controllers" in the vizia created network. I don't think the HA07 and the HA09 are "controllers" in the vizia RZCPG hand held primary controller speak. I try to do a "send data" but couldn't get that to work.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,
P.K.

P.K.,

Reset the HA07/HA09 and then put them into "replication receive" mode when you do the "include controller" operation on the RZCPG. It should work, although you'll need to assign devices manually to the channels (scenes) on the remote.

Thank you !!

If you don't mind, the (obvious) second question would be:
on the Vizia, there is the "update controller" function after I add/remove devices from the network.
What would be the sequence on the secondaries HA07/09 to receive that update? "Receive Replicate network" again?

Exactly. Just be aware that you may lose your remote's channel setup when you do the re-replication. Try the CHANNEL 2 OFF option to receive network info only.

Perhaps it is because I have an older HA07C (one of the originals) but I have never been able to add devices to the channels after adding it to a ViziaRF network. The All On/Off works, however I cannot get the devices added to channels. Is there a secret or is it because I have an ancient HA07C?

ASIHome,

No, you should be able to add them to channels. Try this:
1. Hold down both Channel 1 ON and OFF simultaneously
2. Wait until the screen flashes something (or the LEDs start flashing)
3. Hold down the INCLUDE button
4. While holding down the INCLUDE button and within about 3' of the device you want to control, turn on the device you want to control.
5. Release the INCLUDE button

Now, pressing Channel 1 ON should turn that device onto the level you had it at; pressing Channel 1 OFF should turn it off.

If that doesn't work, turn the device off and then on again during step 4. Basically, the remote hears a "I'm being pushed" message from the switch/device and then when you let go of the INCLUDE button it asks the switch/device what level it is at. That's what it uses for the ON position. So make sure that you don't include it into the Channel when the switch is OFF, or else both Channel ON and OFF will turn it off :)

I was never able to get that to work. I will have to dig it out at some point and try it again.

Thanks.
