VRC0P +3 secure commands quit working, non-secure commands still work fine?!?

This is strange.  This week my VRC0P+3 quit unlocking my doors!  Upon troubleshooting by spying on the RS232 port, I see that the VRC0P has stopped decoding all secure messages and it has stopped sending any secure commands to secure z-wave devices!?!

Has this happened to any one else?  I'm guessing the clock inside quit working so it is unable to decrypt and encrypt z-wave packets.  All non-secure messages are displayed, including a short message upon local manipulation (just not the decrypted message that says how the door was manipulated).

The locks and VRC0P have worked flawlessly for almost two years :(

EDIT: EXAMPLES
Locally unlocking a door from the inside using the deadbolt lever:

Using software to lock a door (door lock does not actuate):

<E000

As you can see, the lower case decrypted packets that you normally see as feedback are missing?!?  Also, the lock does not actuate either (it is a kwikset motorized deadbolt).

This my exact problem with HAI
What did you use to SPY on the 232. I have another link working, I thank all that have helped there.
