Web hosting offer with BrulTech ECM-1240

We are working on a new feature on our site that will allow anonymous comparisons of the channels on the ECM-1240. It will allow customers to compare their circuits to all other devices that are named the same. For example, we will take the average of all channels named Clothes Dryer and let a customer know how they compare i.e. Your clothes dryer usage is 15% higher than average. While working on this development it is useful to have as many devices reporting as possible. This will help us get a better sample rate and confirm the performance is still satisfactory on response times.

We are willing to offer free access to our site while this development is happening, the trial would be a minium of 3 free months and possibly longer depending on other features we decide to add. You can view our site at www.check-it.ca and message me for access if interested in the free trial.

We will also be adding a download feature so you can get access to your data at the end of the trial.

I looked through the site, but there isn't any mention of the hosting cost for the ECM-1240 data, mains +5 channels?

Another future initiative that will be more open-standard based(although google is becoming the next privacy behmouth ...). Could be cool, and will be free!!!

The Google meter is relying on the implementation of the smart grid from GE. I've worked with power utilities long enough to know that type of implementation doesn't happen too quick. When it does happen it will not break it down to anything but the overall usage.

Havent been keeping up with this Brultech unit, but are they in stock now?n The website sais (Package A, No Stock).

And are the CT's they supply UL listed yet?

Any CQC driver available?

Well, I've got everything except the 1240, power supply, and CT's. I'm a victim of the shortages, I think.

heh, well i have yet to open the box that mine comes in (got it as part of the original CT deal); if you want, i can loan you mine until you get your stuff. Can't remember which CTs I got though; presuming it's the same, we could always do a swap (leave mine hardwired into your panel, just ship me yours).

Oh I'm sure they'll get around to me. My CT's from my 1220 are already installed in the panel, so once I get the 1240, driver dev time should be pretty short. I'll post when I've finally got one on the way.
