What's in your Elk?

I'm just curious what type of modules/add-on people have connected to their elk and for what reason.

Hopefully this will give me a better view/idea of what i might need.

Anybody care to chime in?

Lots of stuff for lots of reasons. Each module has a specific purpose and what you will need depends on what you want your system to do. There are network, serial (for lighting, hvac, etc), input and output (relays) expanders, etc. I would worry more about what functions you may want and then that will dictate what module you may need.

Zone expander on every floor for ease of expansion and to minimize wire runs. Relay boards for sprinkler control and control of a water cop. Serial Expanders for Lighting and Thermostats. Ethernet module for communications. Additional power supply and batteries.
