Windows based Touchscreen, control power management

I have a few touchscreens in the house - Windows XP/7 based. I'm using Cortexa to control the house, all the touchscreens will run slideshow after 15 minutes of inactivity. At the moment, if someone rings the doorbell, Cortexa will switch to camera view, but the screensaver is running on top, someone will have to physically touch the screen. What I'd like is to kill the screensaver somehow, not sure if this can be done easily?

Much appreciate your help.
