Wrong X10 Line Carrier for Concord 4 / Question

I was hoping one of you Concord experts could help me out. I bought a line carrier transformer off e-bay, and I discovered the hard way that it's the wrong one. It's the ITI 60-672, which apparently supplies 24 V instead of 16.5 V. At least, I'm assuming that's the reason my Concord started smoking when I plugged in this new transformer. (I already feel like an idiot, so let's get past the "you should have checked the specs, moron!" :) Anyway, I unplugged it and put the old transformer back. Surprisingly, the panel still seems to work, and I haven't toasted my whole investment. Looking at the board, I can see that a part of it is clearly burnt. Does anyone know what I might have damaged? Is it likely I've blown out my X-10 capability? I can probably post a photo, if someone thinks they might know.

Thanks,
Mike
