I won all this at an auction for $35:

Gateway:
HRPG1 (Hawking HRPG1 HomeRemote Pro Control and Remote Monitoring Internet
Gatewateway)
Modules:
HRAM1 (Wireless lamp)
HRMD1 (Wireless Motion Detector)
HRLM1 (Wireless lamp)
HRDS1 (Wireless window/door monitor)

It's all new in package, but looking at it about half of the functionality is though their subscription service at $10 a month which I'm not willing to pay.  Also reviews say it's pretty buggy in general.  Before I open it, should I try this or get a different gateway?  I don't need a phone interface, just web interface would be ideal.  If so, what Zwave gateway is good?

I'm assuming that I could keep the modules? They all say "Compatible with Zwave enabled products".

I know nothing about this stuff, so hopefully you guys can point me in theright direction.  The other option is try to sell it all on Amazon and get a completely different system/modules.

My requirements: Web interface (os agnostic), scheduling, and optimally scripting support but not required.  No monthly fees or requires “master server” (I use LAN or VPN).  I’d also like some “security camera” in distant future, but not a big deal.

What do you fellows think?
