HAI Hardwired Expander Issue

I have attached a 16 zone hardwired expander to my Omni-Pro board, attached the ribbon from the expander to the main board and have the jumper plastic thingy is on #1. From what I know, thats all I need to do there.

On dealer PC access, in zones/dealer settings, I have 'expansion enclosures' set to 1.
In Expansion, 001 Module 1, I have selected, Hardwire expander.
In zones, the expanded zones are showing and I have them marked as auxilary.

To test the system, I put a window as zone 17 on the board but it's not making the beeping sound like the other zones when tripped. So something is wrong.

Any ideas where I have gone wrong folks?

The zone chime is for perimeter and entry exit zones.
You say it is set as an aux zone.

Make sure you got the ribbon cable on the header correctly.
It's easy to offset 1 column of pins.
When it's offset you get comms problems.

Did you upload the new configuration from PCAccess to the controller?

Also the number of expansion enclosures should be 0

Hi, I've changed the auxilary to entry/exit and set  expansion enclosures to 0.  Sent everything to the controller. Still no beep and no warning on the touch screens that the zone is not ready.

Hi,

Yes, I should have said that I checked that too. I can't think of anything it might be except the settings in PC Access.

I don't understand this. I removed the plastic jumper thing from the #1 slot and it worked? I thought you HAD to have the jumper in place?
