Face recognition camera

This camera from Netatmo looks interesting, but not available for shipping yet. Anyone has experience with other products from this company?

It's a great product and so far I'm really not disappointed about my order !

I haven't had any experience with that particular company, but that camera looks interesting. We had Dahua face recognition cameras set up in our booth at CEDIA last year, which was awesome. Wouldn't consider it 'beginner security' though

From doing this as a pro, you're really looking into something that should be at the head end/VMS. Cameras can't have enough memory or processing power to have enough images stored to really be effective. We were able to get it working with a manufacturer and pro level hardware/software with a MINIMUM of 4 good quality pictures for the software. Most cameras don't even have close to that power on board.

Sorry, no idea aboout Netatmo. But sounds interesting. I havent used one.From what I understood they recognise face and notifies one. It seesm to be an efficient solution. You can know who is home your loved ones or a stranger.
