OmniLTe and Relay Module

Can anyone confirm if I can connect a 4 or 8 relay module to an OmniLTe board? The documentation doesn't specifically mention the LTe board (Omni, Omni II, OmniPro, or 17A00-1 expansion board are listed).

I'm looking to automate the switching of my HRV system. I wish there were another set of outputs on my OmniStat to do this but wiring it to the board shouldn't be a big issue. Technically, I only need 2 relay contacts, one to switch the fan to 'hi' speed and the other for 'low' speed.

Yup, the LTe has 8 outputs.  You can get the manual here: http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/ProductDetail.jsp?partnumber=20A00-70&section=60580&minisite=10251
Look on page 18.

As for the HRV, are you using an OmniStat2?  It has two outputs for the humidifier and dehumidifier.  You could "fool" it into controlling the HRV. Do both systems use the same power supply?  If not Leviton sells an isolation device for the OmniStat2 which might work.  You'd have to change the humidity setpoint in the OmniStat2 to turn the HRV on or off. A bit tricky but I think it should work.  But you can use the relays as well.

Thanks for the info Ano. Unfortunately, I suffer through cold, dry and dark Canadian winters. I have a humidifier to install on the furnace when I return from vacation that will be connected to my omnistat2. In the summer, I use my A/C to de-humidify.

With the relays, I'll be able to bring in fresh air via an automation block, which is all I really want to do. A bonus that I'll be able to setup a H/W recirculation pump so I won't waste so much water waiting for my ensuite shower to heat.

I used a hot water recirculation pump for my bathroom and it worked OK.  It was quite expensive to run, even for short times.  In my new house I went a different route. I installed a thermostatic shower valve (not a pressure balanced valve)  Not cheap, but it works great. Water heats in about 1/3 the time. Until its warm, this valve uses 100% hot water so it heats up much quicker then if you are drawing both hot and cold.
