Thanks guys...this helps.  My understanding is that most zwave devices poll...would this not keep the device status in sync?

Is it possible to have multiple HA controllers controlling the same zwave devices? For example, using the Elk M1 and a Wink Controller?

OK - strange one going on here...I left m12go running on my PC for a few hours, came back from dinner and can now see the thermostats...wierd...could 300 baud just be extremely slow? or could I be seeing lots of data errors? not sure, I'll keep playing...

I think my subject line says it all....I have a new m1 gold system and am in the process of installing it and I would appreciate a few recommendations on a few devices. 1) Thermostats - I will need two thermostats, non heat pump system. My wife and kids like to overide my existing programable...

Oh, and I should have mentioned that all the output relay switching will be controlled via tasks and rules...that's the easy part!

I am somewhat limited to the parameters of the inverter and EL panel. Is there a way the M1 can control/supply a variable DC power source?, i.e. like it can for UPB dimmers?

The ELK Relays are SPDT correct? I am using the assumption that a single pole double throw relay switches a common pole to two other poles, flipping between them. Thx again!

Thx for the reply BSR! No off position, just a selection of the two switched states, one always on. Can I use the ELM Form C relays to accomplish this? If not can you suggest a relay that would work? Maybe it would help for me to post my schematic.
