    Insteon and Elk M1 Gold Connections

    Does the Insteon and elk M1 only communicate over the Ethernet connections or do you use the RJ45 port (PLC Lighting Interface) on the M1 Board to connect to the PLM? I have a Isy994i Pro and a Dual band PLM. Any Help would be appreciated.

    Does Insteon have a cost effective means of sensing temperatures. Say Boiler temp, Outside air temp, etc. Can you use a thermistor with the system or an RTD? The M1G is being marketed as a automation system but has no cost effective mean of looking at temp and humidity. I work with...

    Will this unit work with the series 5800 sensors or just the hand full of Elk wireless sensors. If you look in the setup for this it has a location to place a H ID for the 5800 series. Just asking.....

    I am trying to set my M1XEP up and the software finds the device. When you go into the IP section, you can enter the first three sets of numbers but the last three have no place to enter. (Example 192.172.128 no place for last digits) This holds true for the subnet mask and the gateway...
