My question is to Don Lamb.
Do I get it right, that Thermostat I program and communicate to, has to have the same number as in Aprilaire (8870) protocol response to command "SN ?", and the number under which M1XSP is enrolled into ELK bus has nothing to do with it?

Connect my test switch to Input 1 and 2 on mainboard, configured same way as before. Status sees it, it's OK. Smth wrong with M1XIN? Will try it on Address 2.
II tested my switch with a meter. Nothing is wrong. It switches "short cirquit" from NO to NC (in my case from zone 17 to zone18).
Double check Zone settings - 16=Non-Alarm; 2=Normaly Open; Area 3;Fast loop response;Enable chime;
