I'm connecting and walk-testing motions one-by-one so I'm cutting power a lot --- I don't think I'm taxing the aux power --- I will check that as I bring more online.
I'll go with "normal power up process" because it doesn't last but 30-40 seconds and clears right up, thanks.
OK, when my I reboot my system, all the zones on 1st expander report as being violated.
This lasts about 45-60 seconds and then corrects itself. This happens every time I re-start the system.
This began after I put the 2nd expander board online. I'm bringing my motions and GB's online with...
I don't know if this helps but I drilled into the wood sashes and sills on my double-hung windows. The holes sit beyond the water seals and there has been zero water penetration to date. I didn't want exposed wire or sensors for "historic" reasons. I'm pleased with the results.
Once you get...
All righty then...22/4 will be limited to motion sensors, magnetic contacts, etc. I've got the 18/2 drops available but thought I'd ask, thanks for the response.
Greetings,
What is the minimum wire required? Something tells me it's 18/2? But can I use some surplus 22/4 drops by doubling up the pairs???
I would end up with 4 of these speaker locations, thanks.
Got it, Thanks for the feedback.
I know some of this motion/occupancy lighting control is a "compromise" as evidenced by the many threads on the subject...thanks again.
Looking to add some HA to my new system. I've perused every thread here to date on occupancy sensors. Just spoke with a distributor and he spoke well of "Sensor Switch CMR PDT9 Occupancy Sensor" I saw this on one of the older thread and it was recommended.
I'm looking to have lights and/or...
I'm trying to get a pre-power inspection and I have to take care of my loose wires hanging from the walls and ceilings to make my inspector happy. I don't need the Elk wired up yet, but I need to mount motions, keypads, etc.
I have 22/4 wire to each room for occupancy or motion or glass...
Thanks...it'll go something like this...
1" CPV thru wall into WSV then into a whole house filter which should be supported with it's own bracket. Then another filter, water softener and tankless. The more I think about it...it'll have a lot of fixed support along the way but I think I'll...
I'm interested in installing a WSV. I have a 1" CPVC waterline coming into my mudroom through the wall about 5' above the floor. Should I create some kind of support bracket for this valve because the WSV2 looks kind of heavy in the picture...any thoughts?
