With my old security system, we could activate the system with the garage exit door open. I though that the Force Armable feature would do the trick with the M1G, but when I tried it, I saw no change. The M1G system required the door to be closed to arm. Am I missing something? Thanks, Paul

Thanks for the follow-up. It is a single sensor and I like the Diabled option, found in Zone > Configuration > Definition. I was looking to do it in the wireless setup area not thinking about the other options. Regards, paul

What is the best way with Elk-M1G to put a sensor out of service while it is being repaired or test so you can eliminate bypassing when the system is armed? Thanks, Paul
