"Level 8" Message

When I have the ELK System in Walk Test mode, I am occasionally getting a "Level 8" message. Any idea what is triggering these messages.

Without any details you're not going to really get an answer.

I am using Elk M1G, firmware 5.2.4, and ELPRP 2.0.10.

Do you have wireless receiver installed?

If so please refer to the manual on page 8. Basically, 8 is the maximum signal signal strength

When the M1 announces "Level 2 to 8", you are in the walk test or wireless transmitter enrollment mode. The "Level X" announcement is how many packets the RF receiver has decoded which indicates the relative signal strength of the RF transmitter.
