/archive/j/site/logos/control4.jpgIt appears that Control4 has been busy. They are now shipping a Fireplace Switch Model C4-FS1-Z. The fireplace switch utilizes a low voltage relay (dry contact) output for control of the burner on most standard gas fireplaces. Maximum load types are 24 VAC (up to 240W) or 30 VDC (up to 10A) . This CAN NOT be used for fireplaces which require 120 VAC to turn them on, and will need anadditional standard wireless switch if you have a 120 VAC blower motor, that also needs to be turned on. It still requires a 120 VAC power wire to be connected to power it's internal circuitry.
