It's not the same as someone stealing your keys. Your phone almost certainly has a record of your address. Your keys probably do not.


I don't really get the point of purely local control (e.g. bluetooth). All that saves me is taking my keys out of my pocket. Automation should be getting me remote lock and unlock (e.g. let in my friend if they arrive ahead of me), guest access (e.g. provide a one-day-only code for a guest or contractor), and remote status (did I remember to lock?). If I don't get those things, I picked the wrong product.
