Is the Elk structured wiring stuff and cabinets compatible with Channel Vision, etc?

Martin's web site says that the Leviton & Channel Vision are fully compatible. The Elk site implies that their stuff is compatible with Leviton, etc. So one could "assume", but I hate to do that...

I am pretty sure it is, my 50" is a Channel Vision. I haven't tested it, but I am 99.9999999999% rolleyes sure that the M1 would mount directly into the Channel Vision cabinet, and that the Channel Vision modules fit into the Elk cabinet. I will try this tonight.

Yes, the Elk will mount fine into the Channelvision cans.

The M1 EZ8 pops right into the Channel Vision metal cans. The M1 Gold will require you drill two holes in the can and use the self tapping shoulder screws to mount the board only.

The hole mounting pattern on the EZ8 is a 6 X 6 inch, 1/4 inch round hole.

You can mount to anything with a drill and screw.
