Pulled the trigger on an X3000, should be here next week.  I'll report back once I've had time to fiddle with it.

I was looking at the X3000 before Christmas...until my wife said no new playroom TV.
 
Not that it matters, but sourced from Amazon?

Got it through a user on avsforum, jdsmoothie.  They're an authorized dealer, which matters to me for fiddly bits like this.  I'd prefer to have factory warranty support should upgrades become an issue for something.

I've read many, many useful posts from him.  I always figured he worked for Denon, though he has denied it.  Does he have an online storefront, or word of mouth?
