Elk 6010 key fob problems

Purchased 4 Elk-6010 fobs.  They worked great.  Put them in a drawer for about 6 weeks and when I needed to put them into service they were completely inoperative.  No lights.  Like the batteries were dead.  Wondering if anybody has had similar experience?

Seems strange that all 4 would die on you.  I could imagine that if something in the drawer was pressing on one of the buttons, it might run down the battery.  But for that to happen to all four seems very unlikely.
 
The 6010s are covered by a 2 year warranty.  You should be able to get them replaced.

Get a return authorization and send them back to ELK.  They will be replaced.
