Has anyone attempted to use this device with the minibroker developed by John George?
Would it be possible for someone to add support for this item if it isn't already there?

The driver doesn't support this device. Frankly, while insteon has proven to be more reliable than x10, it still has issues. I'm not sure I'd trust it with anything more than lighting control. If you are looking for remote control of insteon devices, take a look at the insteon wireless controller. The driver supports that device.
