Looking for a thermostat without buttons or screen. :)

I have searched around, but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I want to control my thermostat by using my z-wave app (wink). So located where the thermostat normally resides, I just want a sensor that sends the needed info, and that sensor has a switch that turns on or off the heater/ac based on what I have the temp set at in the app. So basically a thermostat without buttons or a screen. There has to be something out there right?

I hope you have a mechanical high temperature cut-out on the heater.
 
I wouldn't trust a wireless system to do this without one. Most systems the thermostat controls the heater, hardwired, and the app controls the thermostat.
 
When the batteries go dead on the app was the heater left on or off when it reboots again? What about when the batteries go dead in the thermostat?

Yes that's true the whole quirky reorg may have killed this product.

Yep, just got word from Wink that Quirky will not be releasing this unit. So the search continues.
