Dear all,

Somehow I manage to loose the module "integra_serial_v2.xdo" to control via serial Onkyo receivers. I got it from the original Premise forum but unfortunatelly it is down now.

If by any chance any of you have this file would you be so kind and send it to me at : [email protected], many thanks.

Best REgards,
Jorge.

P.S: I have been investigating this great software and now I feel confident I will be able to modify this file so I can control the Onkyo receiver through TCP/IP will share when I get the code to work.

Scroll to post 9 and download ;-)

It's actually a thread on what you're trying to do also. Hope it helps...

Many many thanks etc.... this is exactly what I was looking for.

Best Regards,

Jorge,

Have you thought about making a perl script that would reformat the IPSC packet to match the formatting of an Onkyo RS232 packet and then send the packet to Premise? If the packet is sent to Premise using a TCP port, all that would be needed then is to use the current Onkyo driver (the native driver or a custom version). You would create a Lantronix UDS10 device and connect it to whatever port the perl script is sending data out from. You would then bind the UDS10 to the old Onkyo driver. I'm doing something similar with the OBi110 and Premise. It should be ready to post in a few weeks...
