UPB Phase Coupler Suggestions?

I'm looking for suggestions on a phase coupler that will fit a Cutler Hammer Breaker Box.  I believe it is the CH type not BR.  All the UPB switches we installed were Simply Automated and when I went to install the breaker box phase coupler, it does not fit in this style of box.  I have been unable to find one that will work so I am looking for any suggestions.  Thanks!

I install PCs outside of the BB in a regular box like you would use for switches/outlets.

I have three SA couplers, their effect is additive.

The only difference between the breaker box and wire in module is the mounting style.

Hi,

I had no luck using SA phase couplers but this is the type that will go in a normal switch box:

These are the ones I use:

The SA devices are described as inverting whereas the HAI devices do not mention that. In any case I have tried them both and the HAI worked better for me. YMMV.
Trial and error sometimes is the best plan with phase couplers.  Simply Automated Inverting phase couplers work better the more you add.  This for some reason isn't the case with non-inverting phase couplers, and its also unclear with some if they are inverting or non-inverting, just don't use the two types together.

I have been told (don't know if its true) that the inverting vs. non-inverting choice depends on how far away your transformer is from your house.  In any case, you can't go wrong with trial-and-error.

Another vote for using the wire-in style.  I have the in-panel version but need to convert because I want to put 3 side-by-side and free up some space in my panel.  Right now I have a plug-in behind my dryer and a single in-panel - it works but I want to get signal levels up a bit higher.
