elk m1 - alarm memory workings

I couldn't find any documentation on Alarm Memory in the rules section, so I thought I'd ask here.

It seems to have to states, exists or clear. And is per area.

My guess is that if an alarm is active, then the alarm memory exists and if an alarm has been dismissed via the keypad, then alarm memory would be clear.

Am I close?

Alarm memory will stay active after an alarm until a user code is entered.
