    POE injector or router?

I use something like this   https://www.amazon.com/WT-GPOE-4-48v48w-Gigabit-Passive-Ethernet-Injector/dp/B015S8397E/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=poe+texas&qid=1594133618&sr=8-4   If you go to the PoE Texas website, they come in a lot of different configurations.

Are you worried about the Coronavirus?

No, not to my knowledge.  I'm just trying to close the gap on my own lack of understanding.     Still a bit unclear to me, but this sounds like "new cases" would indeed include those that may have been sick and recovered, or asymptomatic, but were never tested before.  So now they are a "new...

Are you worried about the Coronavirus?

In all seriousness, I still don't know what the definition of a "new case" is.  Testing is constantly expanding...  are these "new cases" only people that are actively sick and/or contagious?  Or does it also include the ones that were previously sick, have recovered and/or were asymptomatic...

Looking for insight on different HA solutions

I'm using ISY/Polisy to control my Insteon, Ecobee, Rainmachine, Sonos, 6 Harmony remotes, etc, and I can do anything I can dream up.  However, I don't have UPB, Elk or Alexa.  I also don't have any wireless Insteon, which from what I read, can be problematic.  I've also been playing with Home...

Anybody using an ISY plus Polisy with Lifx?

Yes, I meant delete the individual node(s) that are problematic.  I wasn't recommending deleting the whole Lifx nodeserver.  Save that as last resort.

Anybody using an ISY plus Polisy with Lifx?

I don't have experience with your specific situation, but I do have several nodeservers on my Polisy, so I do have some experience with it.  Whenever I have problems with changes not propagating to the Polisy, I can usually get things the way they should be by deleting the incorrect nodes in...

Are you worried about the Coronavirus?

It's just so interesting how those of us who think (as least somewhat) logically, which includes all/most here, versus those who think and react on their emotions.

And you probably don't lock your doors at night because someone could just break a window or kick the door in.

    Windows Sandbox

I played a little with Sandbox.  When I moved on to other tasks I found that VirtualBox was not longer working.  I uninstalled Sandbox, but that alone did not fix the issue.  I had to uncheck the Virtualization box in the BIOS, let it finish booting, and then go back into the BIOS again and...

Best Wi-Fi Strategy for Home Automation

You guys have sold me on Ubiquiti UniFi.  I was looking at getting 2 to 4 of the Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-Lite.  Any feedback as to why the PRO might be a better choice would be welcome.   I was also looking at the UAP-AC-IW (IN-WALL) since I would have to run more Cat-5 for the ceiling installs...
